PHOTOS of past projects
It can be a little hard to visualize and imagine what your hardwood floors will, or could look like fully restored. Hopefully one of our previous hardwood floor sanding and refinishing projects here will be able to provide you with some inspiration. Please note that the colors won’t be 100% accurate because of different settings on computer screens, shading, lighting, and other factors.
Brazilian Cherry Hardwood Floor
Here is a recent Brazilian Cherry Hardwood Floor Resanding project we completed. As you will see in the pics the floors were pretty worn. You can see the entire process from before we started, during the sanding phase, and after we applied the coats of finish.
BEFORE & SANDING PROCESS
Maple hardwood floor
This classic 20 year old maple floor was recently restored to its former glory. As you can see the floor was in rough shape to say the least. We completely restore this floor providing a natural, light, warm feeling throughout the home

04 Engineered Vintage oak hardwood floor
Creating a unique look like this floor may seem like an easy task. I assure it’s not. There’s great deal of technique and craftsmanship that goes into creating a floor like this. From the way the scraper is pulled against and with the grain of the wood, to the type of finish that is applied. When all of these things are combined you get a beautiful, crafted floor that will be enjoyed for years to come!
BEFORE, DURING RESTORATION & AFTER
Walnut hardwood floor
This was a 15 years old house with beautiful walnut hardwood installed throughout. It was in pretty dire need of a face-lift though as you can see from the pictures below. We refinished the hardwood floors in the family room, bedroom, office, kitchen, hallways and entrance. In the kitchen there were a few water damaged boards under the refrigerator that we needed to replace. You can see the results in the picture below.
06 Heart Pine floor
This wide plank, heart pine floor had become worn, particularly along the edges with slight cupping caused by a leak. The floor once dry was sanded smooth and finished with a custom stain, to give a hint of warmth, yet retain a lighter, fresher appearance.
07 Distressed, reclaimed solid hardwood floor & Hardwood stairs restoration
This unique floor is end grain distressed , reclaimed, custom milled and installed piece by piece which was a long and tedious process but well worth the time put into it.
