It can be a little hard to visualize and imagine what your hardwood floors will, or could look like fully restored. Hopefully one of our previous hardwood floor sanding and refinishing projects here will be able to provide you with some inspiration. Please note that the colors won’t be 100% accurate because of different settings on computer screens, shading, lighting, and other factors.
Red Oak Hardwood Floor 1 - Restoration by Advantage Hardwood
This Red Oak hardwood floors was in a bad shape before full restoration. The beauty of real wood floors is your ability to change the color of them without ripping them up. Here we are sanding away the old finish. Revealing a new clean slate to paint a new color on, modern, natural look! You can see the entire process from before we started, during the sanding phase, and after we applied the coats of finish.
White Oak hardwood floors & hardwood stairs - Restoration by Advantage Hardwood
Here is a recent project we recently completed with white oak wood in a urban 7+ year old home. The customer wanted to restore the floors and not replace them to keep the modern theme in the house consistent.
As you can see in the before and after pics we took these beat up, worn, dark grey floors and restored/refinished them to appear like brand new white oak wood floors with custom lighter stain color.

Walnut hardwood floors - Restoration by Advantage Hardwood
This was a 10 years old house with prefinished walnut hardwood installed throughout. It was in pretty dire need of a face-lift though as you can see from the pictures below. We refinished the hardwood floors in the family room, dining room, office, kitchen, hallways and entrance. You can see Before/After the pictures below
